(4) 1x2x8 boards
(2) 1x3x8 boards (optional for trim)
(1) 1x6x8 board

What you need for gallery rails:

1/4" dowel rod*
1/2" dowel rod*

Metallic Spray Paint

*You can find dowel rods online, but they're cheaper at the big box store. I encourage you to check your local big box/home improvement stores for these.
