Video Not Working? Fix It Now

We show you how to convert a Millers Falls 40t Black Diamond log splitter into a fast and functional forging press. This video is a walkthrough of the full conversion using our kit. Although it is rated at 40t, the log splitter only produces 30t of force, but that is still a very workable number. With the electric motor the travel speed is 55mm/sec (2"/sec), and we have set it up with Quick change tool plates. Purchase the Log splitter from Paramount Browns - https://www.paramountbrowns.com.au/products/petrol-log-splitter-40ton/ (these splitters are available from other retailers too) Purchase the conversion kit from us at Fire Pants Fabrication - http://www.firepants.com.au/forge-press Please leave a comment if you have any questions, or email us at [email protected] We are an Australian company, making tools and equipment for blacksmiths and knife makers.
