Materials: For a 3x1.2m (10x4ft) bed you will need: x5 lengths 3m (10ft) 2x3 timber x2 roofing batterns 3.1m (just over 10ft) x 3 thin batterns 3m (10ft) x 2 stainless streel hinges 80mm screws 40mm screws 30mm nails x 8 approx 2.5m (8ft) 25mm (1in) alkathene pipes 5x2.5m UV plastic sheeting Staples Notes = Use the first alkathene pipe to measure the correct length for the rest of the pipes UV stabilised plastic sheeting can be purchased here (UK): https://www.firsttunnels.co.uk/polytunnel-coversDetail/super-therm-polythene Total cost for materials for me to purchase from local timber merchant and online approx: £80/$100 for a hoop house that should last at least 8 years with care. £10 a year for an extra 3m square of undercover growing space is a fantastic deal! #hoophouse #kitchengarden #raisedbedgardening
