We traveled from Kabul to Bamyan by car. In Afghanistan, the Taliban do not allow music, so whenever we played songs, we lowered the volume at their checkpoints.
On the way, we saw beautiful snowfall, which made the journey even more special. We also passed by a place where the Taliban had set off a bomb on a road once used by the U.S. military.
In Bamyan, we visited a small village and explored local life. One of the highlights was stopping at a shop where they make very large rotis (flatbreads). It was an unforgettable experience!
