The mass air flow sensor (MAF) has a very strong effect on the dynamics of vehicle acceleration. It is by the amount of air that is measured by the mass air flow sensor that the ECU supplies proportionally the amount of fuel. Therefore, if the mass air flow sensor underestimates the readings by air, then an underestimated amount of fuel is supplied to the injectors. How to check the mass air flow sensor? It is necessary to remove the logs during acceleration, in third gear, and record the measured groups 1-10-11 in the engine control unit. At idle, the air value should be about 400-430 (if the EGR valve is closed), or 180-230 (if the EGR valve is open). But the main thing is the maximum air value. Norm 800-1000.
