Wooden Rounds - Most of my rounds were one-time purchases from one-time sellers in my area and I would purchase a dozen to a few hundred rounds at a time. There are no longer any links for those assorted wood slices. There is one seller still available I've purchased from in Canada with high quality birch wood rounds. I ask the supplier to sand each round for an additional cost https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/1324830437/28-birch-rounds-lot-1011-birch-tree?click_key=68cb1c7a660813bb75fecc6031c5851994057a2a%3A1324830437&click_sum=e8783cd1&ref=shop_home_recs_1

Live Edge Slabs - These suppliers are all local to me in Ontario within driving distance. If you're not local to Ontario you can still check out these suppliers to get an idea of what to look for when searching for live edge suppliers in your area. First up is Anglewood, a large live edge wood supplier in Toronto that sell different sizes and species of kiln-dried slabs. Alex of Anglewood is excellent to work with and a great connection to make if you're in the area! https://anglewood.ca ... Sean from The Twisted Maple is super kind and passionate about wood and is another great connection if you're in the Peterborough area! https://www.instagram.com/thetwistedmaple/?hl=en ... I also have a few other connections I've made through Kijiji and Facebook marketplace who don't have social media or websites but do woodworking as a hobby. We've kept in touch and they continue to help me out with supplying and planing live edge slabs.

Custom Made Items - I don't have a link for my friend who made the charcuterie board or bookmark but I will link a shop where I purchase hand-made canoe paddles as a neat item to burn on. To find custom made items I suggest to work closely with a woodworker in your area or connect through social media to woodworkers who could make you your desired product and mail it to you https://www.haliburtonforest.com/forestry/paddle-shop/
Make sure you check all the boxes in my Wood Checklist when you're purchasing wood. This will ensure the wood is safe to burn and the smoke will be clean (not carrying any unwanted and hazardous toxins into the air).
It's important to wear and use any safety equipment that you prefer, such as a mask or using a mini smoke extractor, to protect your lungs/eyes and keep the air clean around you while you're burning (even when you're burning high quality wood).
