In this week’s episode, Jean helps Jo and Scott choose lighting for their new kitchen. Jo and Jean take a trip to the Circa Lighting showroom at the New York Design Center to check out the fixtures that were chosen for the space in person. Over the island, Jean wants to use three minimal pendant lights in a brass finish, with LED bulbs that are guaranteed to last the fixture’s lifetime. With large Pella windows letting in plenty of natural light during the day, Jean also suggests adding task lighting above each window to light up the counters at night. Later, Jo and Scott reflect on how the newly-installed lighting pulls the space together.
