Not all vehicles require the same detailing regimen which is why it is important to choose the right clay bar for your application. New vehicles may only need a light decontamination but this may not be suitable for older neglected paint. Using a clay bar removes contaminants from the pores of the paint that aren't removed during a normal wash. In this video we will show you how to properly clay your car after choosing which one you will need. Tear off a small piece of the clay bar and shape it into a disc that covers two or three fingers. Spray a generous coat of Chemical Guys Clay Luber over the surface to keep the bar lubricated, prevent marring, and avoid installing scratches or swirls.
