If you have a check engine light illuminated on the dashboard of your first generation Toyota Aygo/Citroen C1/Peugeot 107, a common cause is the oxygen sensor on the exhaust manifold. This can easily be cleaned or replaced by a DIY mechanic, as shown here. The Aygo/C1/107 are essentially the same car so the procedure is the same for all three. The following tools are required: a 22 mm open-ended spanner and an OBD 2 scanner. You will also need something to degrease the oxygen sensor if you are going to clean it. I have used petrol here.
