How to combine two or more similar tables using “append” in Power BI! This will “stack” the tables on top of each other, letting you measure and compare across multiple sources more easily. Here we use it to combine task data from multiple projects, but it’s also very common for survey data where you need to combine and compare.
A great place for this is combining data from Microsoft Lists that have been created in multiple sites - you can’t do this in SharePoint, but you can in Power BI!
This also addresses the “Formula.Firewall: Query ‘Query’ (step ‘stepname’) references other queries or steps, so it may not directly access a data source. Please rebuild this data combination” error.
