Besides WordPress, the other side to the tutorial you need to be aware of is Bluehost. Bluehost is one of many web hosting companies—essentially granting online availability for your website, causing your domain and site to go live. For actually installing WordPress and having a site that isn’t made on a site builder, you’ll need a web host. That’s where Bluehost comes into play.
Before thinking you need to get the best plan, realize Bluehost’s most affordable option is perfectly suitable for a blog.
Once you get a hosting plan selected, here comes the challenging part of registering a domain. Most Bluehost options allow you to register a domain, which is always a benefit. If you already own a domain from somewhere else, you can connect it at this point, but either route will work well.
When picking your domain, try to think of something that’ll fit your website well, is easy to remember, and isn’t super long. For example, if you have a music blog, musicblog.com or ilovemusic.com, both work beautifully. Whereas 1234music3689drum .com is impossible to remember. See the difference?
