I no longer use floral foam because it is highly toxic to your health, the health of your kids if they enter your floral studio, and toxic to the environment. In this video I show you a brand new product on the market- Agrawool! Agrawool is a completely natural and compostable product that retains water and can keep flowers alive for several days. I took this hydrangea installation down about 3 days later and most of the hydrangea was still perky. I recommend using Agrawool for installations, but only using flowers that have stiff stems. Softer stems cannot be placed into the textured blocks very easily.
