We saw your comments on the GMC Vandura project and our white bagged C10, so we took this week to show you guys how we create a custom patina from scratch! This is a technique we've used countless times. Not only have we used it to blend in panels to existing distressed paint, but we've also used it to create paint schemes for entire vehicles. So we're going to take you step by step through the process on how to distress existing paint, how to match patina on new panels, and how to create a patina paint job on a completely bare metal panel.
