In part 9 of the how to build a mold series we Spray the first coats of gelcoat and fiberglass on our custom hardtop for our 29-foot center console charter boat. These steps are Crucial in creating a durable and long-lasting fiberglass hardtop,but are important steps for any molded fiberglass product. Using custom mixed gelcoat and high-end vinyl ester resin with a Divinicell foam core will give us the strength and light weight we are looking for.
