In this video I talk about a trail ride I was out on with Lena and she bolted after seeing a person on the trail. I talk about how I never once whip, kick, spur, beat and otherwise physically abuse Lena to get her to do what I want, which is to head down the trail a little further. So many people are told to and happily resort to whipping their horse to get them to do something. We have to ask ourselves though, is whipping a horse worth what we we're asking? Is there a better way to make a friend? If you have the patience to watch me being patient, there's a very high chance that you too can do this and create a better relationship with your horse for it.
