In this tutorial I give a thorough demonstration on how to button the back of a modern reproduction chair as part of its re-upholstery. I show how I remove the original factory inserted metal butterfly buttons, cover the new ones with fabric and insert them using the traditional method which can be used with all chairs. I also show how to make folds in the fabric from the buttons and how to fix the fabric around the frame of the chair.
