The way makeup reads on camera is so dependet on lighting and quality, it is completely different to real life. Things that read better on camera perform far more well on social media as they’re visually appealing and aestheticallyl pleasing😊 This is why we’ve seen a huge abandonment of traditional, logical and theory based makeup, and a boom in fun and bold techniques that may look good on camera, but lack realism and dimension in real life.
