Simple Linear Regression is used to predict the value of an output variable from a predictor variable. Although it is unlikely that you will be calculating many regression equations by hand, doing an example by hand is a great way to really understand regression. We will begin with the assumptions and the necessary settings for null hypothesis testing, then I will show you an example using the regression formulas with a simple dataset. This will get you acquainted with the regression procedure. This video teaches the following concepts and techniques: Regression formulas for calculation Link to a Google Drive folder with all of the files that I use in the videos including the regression datasets. As I add new files, they will appear here, as well. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1n9aCsq5j4dQ6m_sv62ohDI69aol3rW6Q?usp=sharing
