MATERIALS
Pencils: I use about 10 pencils from a set of Faber-Castell Pitt Pastel pencils. You do NOT need the same brand, set or colours - any set of 24-36 pastel pencils will do.
Surface: I use a mid-grey/brown paper by Canson Mi Teintes. Any brand of paper designed for pastels will work.
Other Bits: craft knife and sanding block, kneadable eraser.
