In this video, I show you how I draw a realistic tabby cat in charcoal step by step. I show you how to apply the layers and details with white and black charcoal pencils and blending with stump and also cross hatching technique for rendering the blanket. I hope this tutorial is helpful to you. I am using general's charcoal pencils on ClaireFontaine Paint on mixed media paper in Gris colour and it is A3 size.
I did record this footage on another device to experiment but I don't think it is as good as from the usual phone so i will switch back for further videos so i apologise if the lesser quality is noticeable to you.
