Tips
/ Clean the avocado pit and skin thoroughly, removing all green pulp.
/ Do not boil your dye-bath. Slow and easy will provide better results.
/ Keep the temperature at a low simmer after adding your yarn. This will prevent the yarn from felting.
/ Add wet yarn to the dye-pot. Wetting your yarn beforehand opens up your fibre, so it can more readily absorb the colour.
/ Use different water sources to achieve different results.
/ Relax and enjoy the process. 😊
