Video Not Working? Fix It Now

In this video I show how you can change the springs in the forks on the Tenere 700 by yourself.
It is not a complicated job and all you need is to make an internal puller which I made from gluing together 3 off 10mm nuts and put it on a threaded rod. One tool that makes leveling the oil is a motion pro tool but again you can make this by using a big syringe.

There is a free give away for 5 people which is mentioned in the video, so look out for it.

I also install an an adjustable fork cap so you can change the sag setting, but it is not required to do so, you can still follow along. also put on neoprene gaiters and change one bolt with nylon bolt on each fork leg.

I mention the torque values, and have not put it in the video as I try to keep them as short as possible for you. If you want the torque values for this job, let me know in the comments and I will make a link to a download of the torque spec sheets for you.

Hope the video is helpful, there is a few more mechanical job videos but the season is soon here and then there will be riding videos, tours, adventures and more.

Take care and keep the shiny bits up
