Video Not Working? Fix It Now

Disclaimer: This is NOT a sponsored video for DRAGONtail Tenkara. I spontaneously decided to make this video on the bank of a river since I didn't have a rig already made for the Nirvana 400. This shows how easy it is to rig up on the trail but I hope my explanation does this justice. I don't know what this method is called so I will call it the "double lilian" method. It basically just recreates the type of knot the level line has from the lilian but where the tippet meets the level line. Lilian= overhand knot Level line to lilian= slip knot (with about an inch of tag end to pull from) Level line to tippet= overhand stopper knot on level line Tippet to level line = slip knot Tippet to fly= your knot of choice but I use the Rapala knot. All catches I land are using this method so it's certainly tried and true BUT this does not mean it is the only way of doing it. To each their own but many new Tenkara anglers are looking for a video to help them get started. Don't be afraid to get creative and find your solution but feel free to try this and land HUNDREDS of fish! Tight lines!
