Here's how I spent $10 on an entire week of groceries for myself from Aldi! I ate a full week of breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and averaged around 1600 calories a day. This particular week of meals was dairy free and vegetarian (if you are an egg eating variety of vegetarian).
These $10 extreme budget challenges are great at showing what's possible with a very limited food budget, but if you are struggling with food access, reach out to the resources around you! In the United States, you can dial 211 from any phone, and they will help connect you to community resources in your area.
I do want to acknowledge that not everyone has access to Aldi, and Aldi's pricing varies regionally, so I fully understand that not everyone will be able to find these groceries at these prices. I also want to acknowledge that everyone has different dietary needs and preferences. This isn't meant to be a strict guide for how to eat for $10 so much as inspiration to make whatever grocery budget you are working with work for you!
