You HAVE to be able to find notes on your guitar if you want to succeed. Music is made of notes, blues licks, blues scales, chords, all of it comes from notes and not learning the names of the notes is a shortcut to disaster... I've seen it happen.
This only takes a few minutes a day and after a couple of months you got it!
