This precalculus tutorial covers 6 basic examples of finding the domain of a function in interval notation. We will just focus on rational functions and square root functions. Remember, when we have top/bottom, the bottom cannot be 0. When we have sqrt(inside), then inside has to be greater or equal to 0. 0:00 ex1 f(x)=(2x-1)/(3x+5) 2:41 ex2 f(x)=(x-2)/(x^2-4x+3) 4:18 ex3 f(x)=(x-5)/(x^2+4) 5:36 ex4 f(x)=3+sqrt(x+2) 7:15 ex5 f(x)=3/x+sqrt(x+2) 9:12 ex6 f(x)=sqrt(6-2x)/(2x+1) ----------------------------- Get your "algebra" t-shirt 👉 https://amzn.to/3A8Ed4k Shop my math t-shirts & hoodies on Amazon: 👉 https://amzn.to/3qBeuw6 ----------------------------- I help students master the basics of math.
