Find the Orthocenter of a triangle with vertices at each of the following sets of coordinates: (0,0), (6,3), (8,9).
The point of intersection of the 3 altitudes of a triangle is called the orthocenter. Given an obtuse triangle in this example, the orthocenter is always located outside of the triangle. We can find this location using a system of linear equations (the equations of the lines that contain the altitudes).
