Another great repair. From low gain to monster sound. I approached this repair systematically, hopefully to catch the flaw along the way. Turns out that the issue was due to past maintenance. Either way, when working on these old amps, always install fresh capacitors. These have been in service almost 60 years. Failure is right around the corner. These old amplifiers have beat the odds. Still operating and will continue as long as they get periodic check ups. This Princeton is not original, however still sounds great!
