In this video I show you how I fixed the humming sound coming from the speakers on a Bose Wave Radio AWR1-2W.
The cause was faulty / leaked capacitors on the main board but it’s advised to replace all the mini capacitors on both the main board and the daughter board.
Apparently Bose used some faulty caps back in the 90’s from what I’ve read.

Sorry there’s no footage of me removing the caps, I thought I’d pressed record and I hadn’t.
Below are the capacitors I replaced but you may find you need to replace more or less.
CAPS REPLACED
C113 = .1uf - 50v
C116, C120, C213 = 1uf - 50v
C149, C224, C225, C404 = 47uf - 16v
C202, C209, C212, C252, C506, C510, C511, C983, C984 C985 = 10uf - 16v
C433, C502, C504 = .47uf - 50v
ALL 105 DEGREES
