How to Graph a Simple Rational Function with a Vertical & Horizontal Asymptote

We're graphing rational functions!
To do this, we are going to follow 4 steps:

1. Factor
2. Find the Asymptotes:
- Vertical (Check for Holes)
-Horizontal or Slant
3. Find the x-intercept(s) & y-intercept
4. Figure out the general shape of your graph by applying what you know about the function, or by plugging in points to get ordered pairs.

It's also a good idea to check your work after graphing with a graphing calculator.
