Celosia flowers produce a lot of seeds, but if you've never collected them, it might be a little hard to figure out how to collect and save them. The seeds are very small and fall out of the flower head fairly easily. I'm not saying this is the best way of doing it, but this is the way I do it, and it works pretty well for me, and doesn't take very much time to do. I'll show how I dry the flowers, then how I harvested the easiest seeds. Once I harvest the easiest seeds to collect, I then have a technique that allows me to collect the seeds that don't come out of the flower heads easily. Once I have as many seeds as I feel like I need, it's time to separate the Celosia Seeds from the chaff. Many people know this flower by it's commonly used name...Cockscomb.
