How to Install a Newel Post using the ThreadLock Newel Post Fastener

The ThreadLock newel post fastener can be used on finished and unfinished floor surfaces. The two piece system makes it quick and easy to attach a newel post. The fastener is concealed with a wood plug on side of the post.

This video shows how to drill holes straight and plumb with easy to make wood guides.

The lag bolt can be installed three different ways.
1. Recess lag bolt head flush with floor surface
2. Recess lag bolt head into bottom end of the newel post
3. Recess lag bolt head halfway into the floor and halfway into the post

Note - The fully threaded rod can be cut to different lengths as needed.

Recommended for interior use.
