Tools Required: - Drill with a hammer setting (SDS drill works best) - Impact gun and Phillips bit - 3/16" Concrete bit - Scissors - Hammer - Taping block (scrap piece of 2" x 4") - Shop vacuum Materials: - Delta-FL (105 sq ft roll) - Landscape Fabric - 4' x 8' Sheet of 5/8" OSB with tongue and groove - 100% Clear silicone - Tuck tape - 1/4" x 1-3/4" Phillips flat top Tapcon screws (approximately 8 per 4 'x 8' sheet) Laminate Floor: Life Stepp, country collection, colour: Gray Smoke, Size: 1215x126x12.3mm, SKU # 2717. Each box covers 19.77 sq ft. Delta-FL in conjunction with 5/8" OSB tongue and groove plywood is the perfect subfloor system for concrete and slab on grade floors. The plastic membrane is installed with the dimples down to create a 5/16"thick air space allowing the concrete slab to breathe. If there ever was a flood it would also allow the water to flow freely towards any drains. By installing this subfloor you will increase your floor temperature by 7 °C providing a warm and comfortable basement floor.
