On my 1975 Ford Bronco, years ago I installed a brake booster which gave me more stopping power. BUT, with a brake booster you need 16-18 inches of vacuum to really see the benefits of a brake booster. Now I don’t have a super lobey cam in this engine, but still my vacuum measurements are only at 13 inches of vacuum at idle. Not enough to really see the brakes booster benefit. So I’m looking at installing a Hydroboost brake system in replace of the brake booster.
