To make this blanket I have combined two joining methods. The first is a continuous join method, which can be found around the place, here are some videos I like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swro8-DaMXI&list=PLytkewzuOlZXtLFH7vf2pOHMHQhdfeYJO&index=4 and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xh680Sp1Ynk&list=PLytkewzuOlZXtLFH7vf2pOHMHQhdfeYJO&index=5 The second method is the PLT (pull loop through) join as you go by Cypress Textiles (@cypresstextiles on Instagram). Here is her tutorial for the PLT join as you go: https://cypresstextiles.net/2016/01/21/plt-join-2/ And here is her tutorial for a continuous PLT join, similar to what I have used here, but using a single crochet (US stitches) border around each square: https://cypresstextiles.net/2016/03/05/plt-join-sc-continuous-jayg/ Info about numbers of unique squares (etc.) here: http://www.craftpassion.com/granny-square-color-combination-chart/2/ In this video I used a 4mm hook and Stylecraft Special DK. The colours are white, sherbet, cloud blue, turquoise and storm blue. ~~~ Instagram - @earlygreycrochet https://www.instagram.com/earlgreycrochet/ Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/earlgreycrochet/ Website - http://www.earlgreycrochet.com Ravelry - http://www.ravelry.com/people/hexokinase
