Here's a beautiful easy baby blanket to knit. Just 2 Purl, 2 Knit which creates a really nice effect that looks like bobbles. Follow along with the video or see the full pattern below. NOTE: I tried to keep this pattern as simple as possible so I have kept the instructions the same for the left and right borders. Therefore it may look like the left side is backwards. But it did not bother me and hope you are happy with the results. Just for holding stitches. Not knitting in the round. Or use regular straight US 10 needles. -Darning needle with large eye and blunt end -Darning needle with a large eye and a sharp end K = knit P = Purl Sts = stitches Guage: 4 stitches = 1.25” (3.2cm) Multiples of 4 -which means you can knit this blanket in any size you like. Just minus 4 or 8 stitches for a smaller size or add 4 or 8 stitches for a larger size. Pattern: -Cast on 108 stitches. -4 rows of K2, P2 ribbing to form bottom border Now knit rows 1-4 to form the pattern Row 1: K2, P2 across row (forms its own border on the left and right side) Row 2: K2, P2 across row Row 3: K2, P2, K2 (border) then start pattern *(K2,P2)* Last 6 Sts P2, K2, P2 Row 4: K2, P2, K2 *(K2,P2)* Last 6 Sts P2, K2, P2 Repeat rows 1 to 4 until desired length achieved. -4 rows of K2, P2 ribbing for the top border Sew in ends.
