- Was a tap dance move that was integrated into the hip-hop dance style "Popping"
- Michael Jackson first did the moonwalk at the award show Motown 25 in 1983!
- Michael Jackson learned the Moonwalk from Derek "Cooley" Jackson and Jeffrey Daniels
- The "Moonwalk" is also known as the "Backslide"
