How to Live the Fullness of Life - William Cardinal Goh (Homily - 6 Mar 2025)

Video Not Working? Fix It Now

The season of Lent is an invitation to live fully, both in this life and the next. In the first reading, Moses teaches us that by following God’s commandments, we can truly prosper. These commandments aren’t meant to bind us, but to guide us away from afflicting harm — both to ourselves and others. When we love God, we begin to see His commandments as a source of freedom, not restriction. In the Gospel, Jesus teaches that the more we focus on living for ourselves, the more unsatisfied we become. He calls us to die to our selfish desires and live a life for God and others. It is in giving of ourselves that we truly find happiness and fulfilment.
