How to lose weight post delivery: 10 steps for post pregnancy weight loss, why it's different?

Post pregnancy weight loss:
Its different from other forms of weight loss as it requires to follow few important steps as you have to nurse the baby and your body would have undergone so many changes during the whole 9 months of pregnancy.

Always keep these things in mind:
1- Be realistic
2- Don’t crash diet
3- Breast feed
4- Keep a track on what you eat in a day , start counting your calories – Consider the app Healthifyme
5- Restrict sugar/refined carbohydrates/processed food
6- Restrict your calories intake to 1800 to 2000 if you are breast feeding , 1600 to 1800 if not
7- Try to take high protein diet ( salmon/chicken/chickpeas/quinoa)
8- High fibre diet ( Legumes/pulses/whole grains/oats)
9- Plenty of water- at least 3 to 4 ltrs
10- Exercise – Brisk Walking/Swimming/Kegels Exercise/strength training/cycling/

When you are on a weight loss journey keep in mind what you eat contributes up to 70% and exercise up to 30%
