In this video I want to show you my edition of a pattern technique by @MariaPattie. With this technique it will be very easy and fast to make a good fitting pair of 18th century stays without making alot of mockups. With my additions this technique also fit if you have bigger in the hips/tummy than chest or waist and helps you draw your hip curve. Truly revolutionazing! This is off course a bit advanced so it helps if you have some experience with pattern making.

My Name is Elna and I run a little fabric shop for reenactors, tailors and other natural fiber enthusiasts. I also make historical costumes on order and sewing patterns.
Historical costumes have been a big hobby of mine since I was 2008 and I love spending time learning about textiles and historical sewing techniques, its a never ending learning curve! About 3 years ago I decided to make this hobby/part time work my fulltime job. I wanted to create a shop filled with all the kinds of material for historical costumes, and that is now The historical fabric store (HFS).
Here on this chanel I wanted to share this lovely hobby with you :)
