In this video i am showing a technique for making a 12 volt dc soldering iron, that can run with a 12 volt battery or solar panel or any source of 12 volt power supply. It reaches its maximum temperature in about 1 minutes and consumes about 24 watts from the battery which is 2 amps at 12 volts dc.
