300g (12oz) Self Raising Flour
1tsp Mixed Spice
100g (4oz) Ground Almonds
200g (8oz) Butter
200g (8oz) Caster Sugar
4 eggs beaten with 125ml (¼pt) Milk (or ½ Milk and Brandy)
200g (8oz) Currants
200g (8oz) Sultanas
200g (8oz) Raisins
100g (4oz) Halved Glace Cherries
100g (4oz) Ct Mixed Peel
Bake for 3 1/2 - 4 hours on 150c less for fan assisted oven
