In this video I take a nice semi wheel and make it nicer. This wheel set in particular was pretty nice to begin with but the customer wants it to be a bit nicer. So I did a simple 2 step sanding process followed by a 3 step aluminum polish. All the product I use is available on goshineon.com. In the beginning I use an inox sander with 400 grit followed by a 600 grit on the rotary. Then I grab our makita da and finish sand with 600. Then as you'll see in the video I use an orange buff with brown rouge and cross cut in multiple directions. Then I repeat that process wit the yellow buff and brown rouge. To finish I do 2 passes with the 40 ply white buff with green rouge. I prefer the green rouge to other colors as I like the deep rich color it leaves.
