Posy style arrangements can be made in a variety of containers, they can be low or raised above the table. A posy arrangement is generally an all-round design, seen for all directions. Round designs can be displayed on the centre of a dining table or on a low coffee table. These designs can be adapted for a variety of occasions, different times of the year and look great with a candle in the centre.
This arrangement follows less patterns and structure to make it a more informal design and choosing flowers with round shapes, rather than spikes/points helps to accentuate the outline shape. This style can be used for dinner parties, wedding table centres and can be made in a variety of sizes.
If you are new to arranging, take a few minutes to view my Back to Basics series which will explain how to create a very all round arrangement using a minimal amount of flowers.
