How to make a Shillelagh, making a Shillelagh from some Blackthorn using very basic tools, took around 3 hours to shape and a few hours varnishing.(U.K Self Defence Items) A shillelagh is a wooden walking stick and club or cudgel, typically made from a stout knotty blackthorn stick with a large knob at the top.
