How to Make a Time-Series Plot in Excel 2007

This video takes 5 and a half years of US retail sales data and shows you how to make a time-series plot out of it. My preference is to use a month index on the time axis instead of a date format. That way, if I want to use regression techniques to make forecasts, the time index can be used as a predictor variable.
