Last year I went to Costa Rica, and the entire country is absolutely gorgeous. I had the opportunity to go to Monte Verde Cloud Forest where there is also an incredible butterfly garden. After seeing the vibrant butterflies, I knew I wanted to make a cake full of realistic looking butterflies. I actually made a first attempt of this cake right when I got back, but wasn't happy with how it turned out. I decided to use wafer paper this time around and I LOVED the result. In this episode I'll show you how I created these edible beautiful blue butterflies that look like a work of art.
