This one is all about Making a Wood Coffee Table out of your standard lumber from any home tools store.
The build is actually quite simple if you have a cut list and list of dimensions which I will provide below. I decided to design mine with a mix of paint and dark walnut stain to really give it a modern/industrial look and feel to it. The black paint makes the legs look like steel, and it goes great with the wood coffee table top.
Making this wood coffee table only took a few days and the longest part of that was letting the paint and stain dry in between coats. Other than that, the cuts, sanding, and making pocket holes was pretty quick.
Now that it's coming up to Fall weather, what is your excuse for not making one of these? I did it in the summer heat! lol. Enjoy building your own wood coffee table.
Dimensions:
4 – 2x4 @ 16 ½” (legs)
4 – 2x2 @ 41” (side trim)
4 – 2x4 @ 22 ½” (end trim)
2 – 1x12 @ 41” (bottom shelf)
5 – 2x6 @ 52” (tabletop boards)
Since I ripped a small amount off my tabletop 2x6 boards, I did have to rip my bottom shelfs a smidge, along with the end trim 2x4s. A VERY small amount. Completely optional though.
