How to make a Yarn PomPom that Doesn’t Fall Apart!

Video Not Working? Fix It Now

I love a good yarn pom pom! Who doesn't? They're super cute on top of a beanie or as an embellishment on crochet or knit blankets, pillows, amigurumi... you name it! There are tons of uses for these little gems, but let's face it, they don't normally rank up there with the most durable of handmade items. Let's change that! After a game of cat vs. extra-large pom pom on the corner of a handmade baby blanket that had a very sad outcome, I decided that I needed to find a better pom pom making process that would create a pompom that can take a little abuse without falling apart! I share all my tips and tricks in this short video, so watch, save, share, and subscribe so when it is time to make your next yarn pompom, you are ready! I am launching a video tutorial and the pattern on Black Friday, November 24, 2023, so be sure to subscribe and hit the notification bell so you don't miss it! In the meantime, check out all my available patterns in my Etsy Shop… https://creatoriq.cc//3oM8U9L To make my pom pom, I used Brava Sport weight yarn in the color Dublin from WeCrochet. It a premium yet very affordable 100% acrylic yarn that I can definitely recommend, but ANY yarn will work with this technique. I'll leave links to all the yarn and supplies you saw in this video below in case you want to check them out!
