"How to Make and Eco-Print a Nuno Felt Scarf" shows how to make a soft, fine fabric out of wool and silk using the wet-felting technique, and then eco-print and eco-dye it with leaves and petals. You will see how to lay out the wool rovings onto the silk chiffon so that when felted you have a lightweight scarf that has areas of see-through chiffon as part of the fabric. After that you learn how to add natural prints and delicate colour to the details already embedded in the felting process, by using rose leaves and petals. I used geranium leaves for the first time in this eco-printing process, but these did not print, although they acted as a resist creating a non-coloured area.
